  • Institutes of technology in discussions re Technological University

    The five institutes of technology in the Border, Midlands and West (BMW) region are at an advanced stage in discussions regarding the establishment of a technological university. Given Government approval, a Border Midlands West Technological University (BMW TU) would create the largest higher education institution in the state with 27,000 students.

  • Direct Entry Application 2012

    Under the Down and Armagh Direct Application Initiative, students who attend school within these areas can apply directly to the Institute for entry in September 2012. The closing date for Direct Entry Applications is 12 noon, Thursday 1st March 2012.

  • DkIT Scholarship Programme 2012

    The DkIT scholarship is open to those attending second level schools or further education institutions in Co. Cavan, Co. Louth or County Monaghan. All applicants must have sat the Leaving Certificate or be due to sit the Leaving Certificate in 2012.

  • SciFest 2012

    Dundalk IT will be hosting SciFest once again on 9th May 2012. SciFest is a festival of Science open to all second level students which encourages a love of Science through enquiry-based learning.

    On 23rd January 2012 the School of Health and Science is holding a Teaching and Learning Showcase. This event aims to showcase a range of innovative teaching and learning initiatives being used by lecturing staff within the School.
