Dundalk Institute of Technology has undergone enormous change over the last five years. These changes are most visible in the transformation of the physical appearance of the campus, most particularly with the Wind Turbine, the T. K. Whitaker building, the Nursing and Health Studies building, Faulkner Student Services building and further expansion to the Regional Development Centre.

Dundalk Institute of Technology has developed, and is implementing, a comprehensive Safety Management Programme in compliance with its obligations under The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and any additional Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice and Guidance.
Dundalk Institute of Technology is a 90 acre campus situated between Dublin and Belfast (each approximately 50 miles away). The campus is 1/2 mile from the main Dublin Belfast road and 3 minutes drive from the M1 motorway to Dublin. Dublin Airport is a 35 minute drive by car. Dundalk is served by the Dublin Belfast Train corridor and Dundalk's Clarke Station is approximately a 20 minute walk (or 6 euro taxi ride) from the campus.

Members of staff can use this facility to upload an MP3 or AVI file which will be delivered through the college podcasting facility. Vistors to the website can download these files and listen to them on any MP3 player (if it is an MP3 audio file), or view them on a video enabled player or computer (if it is an AVI video file).
The DkITimes is the Institute newsletter and is published online every week. It covers all the events on and off campus.
