  • Intercultural Celebration Programme Now Available

    A combined effort between DkIT and Co. Louth VEC, the celebrations will be held on DkIT campus on 16th March. The events are open to the public and free of charge, and the programme is now available for download.

  • Saving Lives with Sunlight

    Organised by the 'Water Is Life: Amazzi Bulamu' project as part of its lunchtime lecture series, 'Solar Disinfection - Saving Lives with Sunlight' will take place on 18th February in the Nursing Building.

    DkIT has issued a discussion paper on a focus on Sustainability in all its activities, research and teaching. As part of our Perspectives Series of Talks on aspects of Sustainable Living we are happy to have Davie Philips in DkIT to enable a discussion on Resilience.

    The Water is Life Project shall be starting a series of lunchtime seminars as part of its dissemination role. The first of these seminars is by Dr. Kevin McGuigan from RCSI, one of the project partners.

If you are planning an event at DkIT or have already organised one, you will most likely want to advertise it on the this website. You will probably also be looking for other IT resources on the day, eg. wireless network. If so, please read this information carefully.

The new 'Black Box' theatre*, opened in 2007, is a welcome addition to performance venues in the Institute. It has already hosted the first doctoral recital in May, a ceoldrama presentation by the Music Department in March, and regular lunchtime concerts are held during term time.
