Computer Services provide Network Management Services and Internet Services to the Institute. These services provide email to all staff and students as well as a 24 hour web presence.

The Research Office is situated in the Regional Development Centre on the DKIT campus. The key objective and main remit of its staff, is to sustain and grow the research base within the Institute through a strategic approach and in conjunction with the academic schools.

In order to develop a sense of future needs DkIT has formed an Anticipatory Needs Group.

Meitheal na Gaeilge was established by the Executive Board to prepare a statutory scheme (language plan) for DKIT for a three year renewable period in accordance with the Official Languages Act 2003.

The Environmental Committee's mission is to encourage the environmental awareness of all members of the DKIT community, to act as a focus for minimising the environmental impact of our activities and to achieve sustainable education.

The mission of the Bicycle users group is to review the quality of the cycle network, road safety, security, lighting and facilities provided for cyclists on DkIT campus.
